Myrkytyspiste.fi

On Thursday 20.7.2023, we received a message from a new entrepreneur who had set up a company specializing in poisoning plants called "Myrkytyspiste". The company's primary need was to create a simple website with the aim of providing customers with basic information about the company and the possibility to easily contact and request a quote. Myrkytyspiste had already created the content for the website, but the visual identity and branding were completely lacking. As a result, the website project was extended to include brand development.

The project was launched two days after the first meeting, starting with the design of a color scheme and logo for Myrkytyspiste and the selection of typography to match the company's visual identity.

Our aim was to create a natural, professional and trustworthy look for Myrkytyspiste, while clearly communicating the company's industry. We also emphasized the simplicity, approachability and positivity of the company's appearance. The combination of these factors resulted in a light and airy look. We chose a vibrant and fresh lime green (#7FFF00) as the company's logo color, supported by the neutral colors black and white.

The company's symbol was the letter "m" in black followed by a dot, to represent the company's name (EN “Poison Point"). A lime green circle in the background represents the values of Myrkytyspiste. The typography chosen was the "Montserrat" font, which matched the values of the company's identity. Two different size versions of the logo were created depending on the intended use. The larger version of the logo symbol is followed by the text "poison point" in either black or white, depending on the context.

The font, color scheme and design used on the website were transferred from the logo. The circular format was used for the website buttons, the contact form and some corners of the elements. Finally, we worked with Myrkytyspiste to take brand images that convey the company's look and values as accurately as possible.
